Emergency Preparedness:
Let’s work together to make sure we are all prepared.

COVID 19 Information and Resources
Sierra Foothills Village is here for you during the COVID-19 outbreak. We want to share how the Village can help—and ease the effects of social distancing.

Our young Village has strong community ties, where neighbors ARE helping neighbors. The response of both members and volunteers has been heartwarming. We are part of a caring community that knows how to step up.

While our office is now virtual, we are very present and available for you. If you need assistance, please don’t hesitate to call 530-205-3326 or email info@sierrafoothillsvillage.org and we will do our best to assist you.

Nevada County is currently under a "Stay Home" order. Click the link below to view this order.

Crowded settings increase your risk of exposure to COVID-19. Wear a face covering or cloth mask, stay 6 feet away from others, avoid touching your face, and wash and sanitize your hands often!

Seniors are particularly vulnerable to difficulties created by emergencies and our challenges are as unique as we are. We need to prepare differently for emergencies than do fully able-bodied younger people. Toward that end, Sierra Foothills Village is helping to train members in making individualized emergency plans for themselves.

It is a personal responsibility to your community to be prepared should a crisis occur. Develop your personal plan today.
